Warsaw- Torun - Malbork - Gdansk - Gdenya - Sopot - Poznan

Before leaving Poland, we went with Xavier to the Baltic see for a 5 days week-end... We made some stopover on the way in Warsaw and Torun...We stayed then 2 and a half days in Gdansk from where we also visited Gdenya and Sopot... Then Xavier left me to go back to ork in Zywiec... I drove back to France with a last stop in Poznan...


Warsaw...
First, you got to know taht Warsaw has been destroyed during the Second World War... Everything, like the castle or tghe donjon, has been rebuilt...

We stayed 1 night and 1 day in Warsaw... That was enough for us and we had carry on our trip... The next target was Torun, the city where Copernic was born, on the way to Gdansk... We spent there one night ( I don't have good pictures...) and in the morning we went to Malbork, a famous castle close to Gdansk...

Born close to Malbork ( Torun), Copernic spent some years of his life in Malbork castle...

After couple of hours in Malbork, we took the road to get Gdansk... Gdansk, Gdenya and Sopot are 3 cities close to each other... We spent our 2 last days visiting...

Xavier left me then to go back to work in Zywiec... I spent one more night there and in the morning I left to go back to France...
